Michael and I got to go on a family vacation to Rio De Janeiro, Brasil with the whole Spencer clan. There were ten of us altogether (Mom, Dad, Sean, Alli, Chris. Jackie, Kelly, Tim, Michael, and Me). We went to visit Tim's mission and we were there for a week in August. It was so much fun! We stayed in an apartment right on coca cabana beach. We went shopping at markets, relaxed on the beach, and watched the olympics on tv. Michael and Sean even went surfing one day and although the waves weren't great they did see a penguin in the water! We went to one of Tim's wards on sunday and saw all the sites. Even flying there wasn't bad because I was sitting with Michael. It was an awesome vacation and the whole family got to know Michael better.

We went to a soccer game at the Maracana Stadium. Its the biggest stadium in the world. And the local fans were crazy. They sang chants, lit flares, and waved flags the whole game.

This is me feeding some really cute monkeys we saw when hiking down from sugar loaf mountain.
This is the whole family posing in front of the Christ statue.

We took family pictures on the beach and the boys were practicing their "blue steal" look.
Everyone in the family but pregnant Alli, went hang gliding. We ran off a platform that was 1800 feet up, on the side of a mountain. Then we glided down with amazing views of Rio.
