We had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa Spencer. They are always cooking delicious food. Thanksgiving dinner was great, but my favorite part was the good ole fashioned Spencer fish fry. Mmm.
My Aunt Shelly let us borrow some of their horses for a ride. Mom and I went for a long ride with Aunt Shelly and my cousin Karen. Then the boys met up with us after and went for a short, crazy ride. Apparently none of them really knew what they were doing and just went crazy fast through the trail. They came back with cuts and bruises all over, but said they still had fun.
Look how cute my little Grandpa is!!!
We had a great time hanging around the house and eating tons of delicious food.
We had soft shell crab. And there's my dad cooking' up some delicious hush puppies.
Michael and Chris went surfing, which was insane, as the water was 52 degrees.
You can see how bundled up we were just to fly kites!
This is at my Uncle Paul's house who owns Spencer Yachts. He competes (with his yachts) in a lot of fishing competitions. He currently holds the record for catching the largest blue marlin (1200 lbs) in the continental US.
Kelly and I went running Thanksgiving morning.

Here's us piling up in the car on the way to Uncle David's house in Raleigh.
Uncle David and Aunt Debbie live really close to Duke University. So we went over to the campus and walked around the beautiful grounds. The Cathedral was amazing.
The next day Michael and Dad flew home. Then Mom, Chris, Tim, Kelly, and I started the drive home to Florida. We left early and stopped for lunch in Savannah, Georgia at Paula Deen's restaurant "The Lady and Sons." We had some delicious southern cookin'
Then we had to stop by River Street Sweets to get some pralines. Mmm... They were delicious!
Thanksgiving was so fun!! Grandma and Grandpa Spencer are so sweet and basically spent all their time cooking for us. Their health hasn't been very good as of late so keep them in your prayers.
