Married!!!

Michael and I were married on September 12th. The sealing was beautiful and wonderful in every way. Our reception was the following even on the 13th. We were pretty worried about the weather but the evening was perfect. We don't have the photographer’s pictures yet but we do have the candids a friend took for us. Here are some of the highlights.
Me and my two best friends
The view of the party from the boat dock
Our first dance...
In the middle of butterfly kisses, the DJ had "technical difficulties" and Backstreet Boys larger than life song came on. To everyone's surprise Dad and I planned it all. I even choreographed our half  minute dance. It was hilarious!!!
Things got crazy. All my bridesmaids ended up ankle deep in the pool, even Michael and I joined them for a little while.

The food was amazing, we even had gelato catered. The dancing was crazy and our send off was the best. Everyone was lined up down the beach with sparklers. We ran through them, jumped on a jet ski, and rode off with my veil blowing in the wind. The reception flew by in seconds but we have tons of pictures to remind us of everything that happened. The best part was having almost all our family and friends there with us to join in on the celebration.

Brasil

Michael and I got to go on a family vacation to Rio De Janeiro, Brasil with the whole Spencer clan. There were ten of us altogether (Mom, Dad, Sean, Alli, Chris. Jackie, Kelly, Tim, Michael, and Me). We went to visit Tim's mission and we were there for a week in August. It was so much fun! We stayed in an apartment right on coca cabana beach. We went shopping at markets, relaxed on the beach, and watched the olympics on tv. Michael and Sean even went surfing one day and although the waves weren't great they did see a penguin in the water! We went to one of Tim's wards on sunday and saw all the sites. Even flying there wasn't bad because I was sitting with Michael. It was an awesome vacation and the whole family got to know Michael better. We went to a soccer game at the Maracana Stadium. Its the biggest stadium in the world. And the local fans were crazy. They sang chants, lit flares, and waved flags the whole game.
This is me feeding some really cute monkeys we saw when hiking down from sugar loaf mountain.

This is the whole family posing in front of the Christ statue.

We took family pictures on the beach and the boys were practicing their "blue steal" look.

Everyone in the family but pregnant Alli, went hang gliding. We ran off a platform that was 1800 feet up, on the side of a mountain. Then we glided down with amazing views of Rio.

Engagement pictures!

We took these down at a Disney hotel when Michael came to Florida in June. It started pouring rain after only 40 pictures and we couldn't take anymore! But luckily Michael is so handsome I still had a hard time choosing the ones I liked the best...

Engaged

Michael and I have been engaged... well... it seems like forever now and we are getting married September 12, 2008. Currently Michael is selling security systems in Washington D.C. while I am attending the BYU study abroad program in London. I am starting this blog as a small record of our lives together. So all of our friends and family can keep up with what we are doing if they'd like to.
